Cookin’ with Baz episode 31

We are back with a brand new episode of Cookin’ with Baz. This time around we’re playing “Nobody”, “Love Will Keep Us Alive”, and “Treat Her Right” and I cooked up a selection of chicken lollipops, prawns wrapped in prosciutto, and turkey balls for the band.

Massive thanks to Peter Northcote, Victor Rounds, and Billy Handley for their awesome musicianship and their wonderful company. It’s so good to have these wonderful musicians around to my place for some great tunes and a feed. Please share it with all of your friends and subscribe to the channel for more.

If you’ve enjoyed the music, don’t forget you can get a copy of my album, Rhythmized, from my Bandcamp page. If you have a suggestion for a song or even a meal, please let me know in the comments below.

Cheers, Baz.

Thank you for the great reminiscing – would love to hear Victor featured with Barry singing ‘I Wonder’ by Rodrigues.

    Hi guys

    A few song suggestions:
Rock and Roll Doctor – Little Feat
I’m Your Toy – Elvis Costello
    Dreadlock Holiday – 10CC
    Maybe Tomorrow – Lee Ritenour
Summer Breeze – Loggins & Messina (not sure if you’ve already recorded this?)

As a fan since the Musos’ Club days (appreciating Leon Berger but impatient for him to finish so the Barry Leef Band could start) I was thrilled to discover these Cookin’ with Baz sessions. Same distinctive voice, another group of superlative musicians, great bonhomie and ease amongst you all… soul-enriching! And I still believe your rendition of Magnolia ‘the best I’ve ever h(e)a(r)d’. Thank you, for then and now.
